XD Series Rims – Trick Out Your Truck
If you’re the owner of an SUV or a truck, or a lifted (raised) truck, there’s a line of wheels and rims out there that may fit the bill for sturdiness, reliability and serious eye-raising good looks. It was also heavy, though. And it contributed to a vehicle’s overall weight, though that factor isn’t as great a deal in the truck or SUV market.
Pride of place for aluminum. Over the last few decades, aluminum has more-and-more become the alloy of choice when it comes to making a purpose-built truck Rims. This is mainly due to the ability to make an aluminum wheel in a variety of styles, interior shapes and offsets, and lots of colors. And aluminum, because it’s an alloy, is completely immune to oxidizing rust. The fact that it’s lighter is an added benefit, though (again) it’s not as important to an SUV or truck owner.
Get a grip. A truck or SUV wheel is a purpose-built thing. And they all come with a set of lugs, the number of which is dependent upon the size and purpose of the wheel. XD Series models can range from 15 inch/5 lugs all the way up to 24 inch/8 lugs. Which model you choose depends on the SUV or truck you own and what you intend to do with it.
