So i want to buy this computer but i want to update it to 10.6 snow leopard and my question is that possible
This is the computer
“iBook G4 1.33ghz processor. 12.1″ display, 40gb HDD, 512mbRAM. OS X 10.5 Leopard, with normal suite of iLife apps, neo Office (word proc/ excell app/powerpoint app etc). Not in any way, shape, or form. The iBook has a PowerPC CPU. 10.6 absolutely requires an Intel CPU. 10.5.8 is the furthest it will go, and furthermore, 10.5 on only 512MB of RAM is pretty painful, so you’d definitely want to toss a 1GB DDR 2700/3200 stick in it. That iBook is at least five years old. Don’t spend more than $200 on it, if that.
