Exam 220-702: Comp TIA practical application, 2009 edition
Exam 220-702 is one of the Comp TIA’s certification examinations and the exam name is Comp TIA practical application, 2009 edition. This certification is designed to the candidates to measure their knowledge and skills to install, support computers, configure, optimize, diagnose, troubleshoot and perform the preventive maintenance in any level organizations or in any field. This exam can also be said as an extension of the skills as well as knowledge that are identified in the Comp TIA A+ essentials with scenarios related to troubleshooting and problem solving.
How exam 220-702 will suit best to the IT candidates?
This examination will suit best to the candidates who wish to start their career in the information technology field as this certification is the entry level certification. This practical examination will also validate on the skills and knowledge of different types of hardware, office communication, basic networking, soft skills as well as other operating systems. This examination will also help the candidates for certifying with higher level certifications such as MCSE, CCNA etc.

Other details of the exam:
Candidates can register the examination in any of the Pearson VUE centers or in Pearson VUE website online by paying the fee. After successful payment of exam fee, candidates will be redirected to schedule for the examination. Date as well as sessions of the exam can be done by candidates according to their convenience.
Exam comprises of 100 multiple choice questions with approximately 90 minutes time duration. There is no case study type questions included in the exam and the minimum score to pass in the exam is 700 on 100- 900 scale basis.
